Hey I’m Dale and new here, unfortunately I didn’t make it to the inaugural meeting. I’m from Surrey and gave up last December. As well as making me unhappy the booze had caused me to pile on a significant amount of weight, I was avoiding social occasions and started drinking by myself at home on the weekends. I’m still figuring out how to approach certain situations as time goes on without having a drink. It’s great to be part of this community and would love to get to meet some of you soon!
